Annual Roanoke Island American Indian cultural Festival and Powwow sponsored
by: The Algonquian Indians of NC and the Roanoke and Hatteras Indians
of Dare County, NC and will be held at: Airport Pavilion Lawn located
on Airport Road across from the NC Aquarium. No contest powwow. Admission
Fee: Adults (13+)$5.00 Children (3-12)$3.00 Age 2 and Under FREE.

The
concert will be held at the Morale, Well-Being and Recreation field on
the Coast Guard base. Gates will open at 6 p.m. with the opening band
starting at 7 p.m. Lynyrd Skynyrd will begin playing at 9 p.m. 7,500 tickets
are available. Several thousand tickets will be reserved at a cost of
$40 each. The remaining tickets will be general admission and sell for
$25 in advance and $35 the day of the show. Military discounts will be
available through the MWR office. Children 12 and under will get in free.
