skies kept the attendance smaller than usual for Manteo's June "First
Friday of the Month" Celebration. Entertainment centered on the porch
of the old Dare County Courthouse, where the
band "Playn Dixieland"
kept the crowd’s spirits up; the front yard of the Magnolia Grill
where Watson & Calhoon entertained and behind the Dare County Arts
Council where Brian Hunsicker performed solo with his guitar. If
you missed "Playn Dixieland"
at first Friday, they will be playing at the GEM Harmony Cafe on Friday,
June 12 at 7pm at St Andrews Catholic Church in Nagshead.
